In this example the subject needs to improve control over the lordosis by using the lower abdominal and gluteal muscles |
eventually an element of rotation and hip abduction may be added
prone bridging flexion
from this position the 4 point kneeling position may be attained

Swiss Ball exercises in 4 point kneeling

need to avoid trunk deviation

legs and arms need to be steady (i.e. no tremor)

knees should be under the hips
-
hands should be under the shoulders
then the crossed extension exercise may begin (may eventually include the opposite leg and arm)
Swiss Ball kneeling exercises
once the stable neutral position is attained, movements such as

flexion to extension
-
pelvic lateral shifting
-
pelvic rotation
may be practiced (eventually without therapist support)
note the excessive pelvic tilt in the first example and the excessive anterior pelvic tilt in the second example
